Potiphar’s wife made several unsuccessful attempts to get Joseph to sleep with her. Joseph repeatedly resisted and her last attempt to corner him failed. Joseph tried to get away from her but tore his garment in the process and was accused of rape. He was sent to jail.

• Joseph was obviously handsome; Potiphar’s wife probably had unmet needs and she allowed the adversary to use her to try to derail Joseph’s destiny.

In the for of temptation. He had been avoiding her and resisting her advances. But when he realized how she was determined to tempt him, he turned and ran in order to resist.

Potiphar’s wife lured Joseph off and when he would take the bait she lied to Potiphar on him that he tried to get in her bed which wasn’t the truth

Potiphar’s wife tried several times to lure Joseph to sleep with her and he refused. This last time when she attempted she caught him by his cloak and said, “come to bed with me!” but he left the cloak in her hand and ran out of the house. Potiphar then used this to fasley accuse him of raping her.

Potiphar’s wife wanted Joseph to sleep with her. She was persistent in telling him to come to bed with her.

After several failed attempts to seduce him to lie with her, she trapped him by grabbing hold to his garment while they were in the house alone. In his attempt to flee from her, Joseph left his garment in her hands. Potiphar’s wife then cried wolf(rape) using his garment as evidence and Joseph thrown in jail.

Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce Joseph, She attempted to lure him into her bed, she grabbed him by his coat: when he went into the house, when no one was in the house.
