Matthew 4:1-11 : When Jesus was led of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil after fasting for 40 days and forty nights.
Matthew 16:21-23 : When Jesus began to reveal/show His disciples how He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things, be killed and raised again on the 3rd day and Peter pulled Jesus aside and begin to rebuke Him.
In this chapter it has been reveal unto me that when you carry the Nehemiah Anointing the distractions will become great as a challenge for you to carry the anointing that is on your life? But having favor with God and Man the assignment will be great but, one things I’m learning in this book of Nehemiah is that you must be alert and focus to be able to see the enemy from afar off?
Just like when the enemy tried to entice and lure Jesus in the wilderness? The enemy is always trying to lure and make you bow unto his tactics, but God has a better plan for you and me?
I can see the enemy at work trying to lure me with his tactics, tricks and schemes. His tactics even on my assignment for the Kingdom of God. I can see the hand of the enemy, but no weapon formed against me shall or will prosper in Jesus name Amen?

Need to add this I know now that the favor 0f God rest up on my life with out a doubt and the promises of God shall follow me all of the day’s of life Amen.
1) Matthew 16:23/Mark 8:33 – Jesus tells Peter to get behind Me Satan, you are a stumbling block to me …
2) Matthew 4:1-11 – Jesus is led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
3) John 18:10 – Peter cut off the high priest servant’s right ear – distraction from Jesus’ assignment of going to the cross.
Luke 4:1-13
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted[a] by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry. The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.”
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours.”Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.”
The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down from here. For it is written:“‘He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[e]”
When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.
What Word of God have I hidden in my heart that the enemy might not gain the advantage or illegal entry into the domain or assignment?
Isaiah 54:11-17 – “‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,’ Says the LORD”
Even though my life for the past 9 years have been total chaos and mentally tormenting, the enemy has not won… I’m still here!!! God has strengthened me through it all. And I have learned that those that have hurt, slandered, lied, and deceived me; I am able to submit myself in humility and pray for them. Honestly pray that, they too, will be saved and set free and walk in the way of Jesus Christ. God has held me in the palm of His Hands. I have casted all of my cares upon the Lord and He has sustained me, taught me, and empowered me through it all.
I too was put in a situation like Nehemiah to be obedient to carry out what God had assigned me to do. The more I advertised my nonprofit, SKIP (Save Kids of Incarcerated Parents), the more opposition I had from my church folk, teachers and administrators, and friend-enemies. This year will be 45 years and there have been times that I was on this journey all by myself. So, my commitment to tell the enemy, “I’m doing a great work and I won’t come down to entertain you this season!”
-In the desert
– Mark 4:3-4, to tell the stones to turn to bread.
. Jesus’ response was that man does not live by bread alone.
– Mark 4:5-7 – to jump off of the highest point of the Temple.
. Jesus’ response was that we must not test the Lord our God.
– Mark 4:8-10 – that He would be giving all of the Kingdoms He could see.
. Jesus response was for Satan to flee and that we must worship the Lord our God and Him only.
We are to respond to temptations with the Word of God, and the devil MUST flee!!!
